About Snow Scholarships


This transformative scholarship program aims to nurture the next generation of globally aware and socially conscious leaders.

Students from Canberra and regional NSW who may face barriers to higher education will benefit from wrap-around support, a holistic leadership development program, and a diverse cohort for their academic journey.  

The program will empower students to emerge as visionary leaders, changemakers and innovators, creating impact and influencing meaningful change.

Snow Foundation is a philanthropic organisation that creates opportunities for a more caring and inclusive community.

Snow Scholarship Program

Snow Scholarships will be awarded to up to 16 students each year who will receive financial and holistic wrap-around support for the duration of their full-time degree. 

At least four scholarship will be identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. 

Snow scholars will benefit from an inclusive cohort that reflects a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, ages, genders, and academic results, allowing them to thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment where they can learn from each other. 

Who are Snow Scholarships for?

We are seeking students with passion, motivation, leadership potential and a commitment to social purpose, who aspire to the student attributes. All students are expected to achieve the required ATAR for their degree. Some students will be high academic achievers, and others may enter through the Univerity of Canberra's alternate pathway programs.

    As a Snow scholar, you will be part of a vibrant, close-knit community. At the heart of this community is the inclusive and diverse cohort, one that will grow each year.  

    The Snow Centre is the dedicated on-campus space where scholars can come together, to connect, have conversations, and collaborate. It will serve as a hub for both academic support and personal growth, fostering a sense of belonging where scholars from Canberra and regional/rural NSW can learn from one another.
